Reviews Policy
Last Updated and Effective: 14 May 2026
Customer reviews are central to how women find element³ — which is why we hold them to a clear standard. Here's exactly how reviews are collected, moderated, and published.
Table of Contents
[ 01 ] Why This Matters
Reviews you can trust
When you read a review on element3.co.nz, you should be able to trust it. This policy explains how reviews are collected, what we publish, what we don't, and how we comply with the consumer protection laws that govern review transparency — including the US FTC Endorsement Guides (2024 Fake Review Rule), the NZ Fair Trading Act 1986, the AU Australian Consumer Law, and the UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.
[ 02 ] Who Can Submit a Review
Verified customers only
We only invite reviews from verified customers — people who have actually purchased and received the product they're reviewing. Review requests are sent via email through Klaviyo, typically 14–30 days after delivery.
We do not buy reviews, solicit reviews from non-customers, or accept reviews submitted outside this verified channel.
[ 03 ] What Gets Published
Our standards
Every review submitted to element³ is moderated before publication. We aim to publish reviews within 3 business days of submission.
We publish reviews that:
- Focus on the product and the reviewer's individual experience with it
- Are written in the reviewer's own words
- Comply with our community guidelines
We may edit reviews lightly for clarity, spelling, or formatting — never for sentiment. If a review is edited substantively, we'll contact you first.
[ 04 ] What We Don't Publish
Where we draw the line
We do not publish reviews that include:
- Spam, scams, or commercial promotion of other products
- Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or threatening language
- Personal information about other people
- URLs or links to third-party websites
- Content that violates someone else's rights (defamation, copyright infringement)
- Specific medical claims — e.g. claims that the product cured, prevented, or treated a disease
- Fabricated or misleading content
If we choose not to publish a review for any of these reasons, we'll email the reviewer to explain why.
[ 05 ] Adverse Event Reports
Some things belong in private
Sometimes reviewers describe an adverse reaction — a side effect, an unexpected symptom, or a health concern they associate with the product. This is critical information that we take seriously, but a public review is the wrong channel for it.
When we receive a review describing an adverse event, we will:
- Not publish the review publicly (to protect the reviewer's privacy and to ensure proper investigation)
- Contact the reviewer directly to gather more information
- Report the event to relevant regulatory authorities where required
- Investigate the event according to our internal safety protocols
If you want to report an adverse event, please email safety@element3.co.nz rather than submitting it as a review.
[ 06 ] Gifted & Sponsored Reviews
We disclose every relationship
If a reviewer received the product for free, at a discount, or in exchange for a review, we disclose this clearly on the published review. The same applies if the reviewer has any material relationship with element³ — employees, founders, advisors, paid partners, or affiliates.
Look for tags like "Gifted product", "Sponsored", or "Affiliate" on individual reviews. If there's no tag, the review is from a regular customer who paid full price.
[ 07 ] Review Incentives
What we offer (and don't)
We may occasionally offer a small incentive to encourage verified customers to leave a review — for example, entry into a draw, or a small discount on a future order. When we do, the incentive is offered to every customer regardless of whether the review is positive, negative, or neutral.
We never offer a higher reward for positive reviews, and we never withhold an incentive based on the content of the review.
[ 08 ] Removing or Editing Your Review
Your review, your call
You can request to edit or remove your own review at any time by emailing reviews@element3.co.nz with the email address you used at purchase. We'll process the change within 5 business days.
We don't remove reviews because we disagree with them. The only reasons a review may be removed by us are:
- It violates our published standards above
- It's been identified as fraudulent or fake by our verification system
- We're legally required to remove it
